Acoustic duo - Acoustic Fire
Having been raised as the daughter of a minister in Baltimore MD, as well as Annapolis Md, My musical background is primarily gospel, including traditional, spiritual and southern gospel , as well as contemporary Christian rock. This background infused me with a soulfulness that is obvious. A friend recently described me as having " a voice of an angel raised on Janis". I traveled full time in the 80's with the contemporary Christian Rock band "CrossRoads". We recorded a self-titled album of original material. In 1993 I entered a songwriting contest for LambJam music festival in Dover Delaware and took first place. I received a guitar signed by all the artists as well as free studio time and local air play. I recorded a 3 song demo of original Christian Pop tunes. Currently I perform covers with acoustic guitar as well as keyboards / piano ranging from Rock, Blues and Ballads. A few of the artists I cover are: Guns n Roses, Alannis Morrisette , BB King, Prince, Tracy Chapman, Tonic, Melissa Etheridge, Led Zeppelin,, Alicia Keys, Marvin Gaye, Rolling Stones, Black Crowes,...I have a strong soulful, sultry voice. I am available to perform anytime as this is my full time work.
